The Argali is a near threatened mammal. They are classified as sheep and are the biggest of their species. This creates a high demand because of their record. Likewise, the main cause of being near threatened is hunting. Hunters generally sell their hair and can also sell the horns that are used to make medicine. Because of the Argali's decline in numbers, it is affecting other animals in the ecosystem such as Himalayan Wolves and Snow Leopards.
