There are two species of Anoa: the mountain Anoa and the lowland Anoa. Both are suffering a decline in numbers through endangerment. One reason is because locals hunt them for their meat. Another reason is that logging can destroy the Anoa's habitat. Due to lack of information, many people don't know they need to help them.
